Is the sky falling in Santa Clara?

From re-sod fields, to being unable to put up a single point this preseason, lots of talk indicates that the sky is falling. Not so fast Chicken Little! Yes, we haven't scored a single point, yet, and yes, the field at the billion dollar stadium needed to get re-done but no this is not the end of the world, and no the preseason is not an indicator on to what we will do this year.

Lets look at it this way, week one. We played the Baltimore Ravens, and you look at what we did on offense, we lead a drive mostly guided by Carlos Hyde all the way down the field and then subbed Hyde out and put in Hampton. Drive stalled. That drive, Kaepernick showed poise and vision, but didn't get more than 5 chances to throw, taken out the next drive. Yes, the back up defense didn't show strong, but its the backup defense, and they are the backup defense for a reason.

Week two, We didn't show strong against the Broncos, end of story, but could you blame us? We play them in just a few weeks, why would you show your cards against a team you want to beat for when it matters? I took this game as an audition to the wide recievers, you look how many guys entered the game at WR and how many different sets we had. Kap showed great poise yet again and demonstrated his ability to make multiple reads and check down, which was one of my big critiques of his game last season.

Now you look at this upcoming matchup, yes again, it is extremely irrelivant, but the starters should play a little more than they did in weeks past. We re-sod the field so we should see how that holds up this week. LaMichael James WILL be back, Ian Williams should get playing time after Harbaugh said in his press conference that he looks better than ever. So please, lets stop this whole "Sky Falling" Sharade, this is only the begining to a great season, just sit back and relax 49er Faithful. Let me just ask you one question..

Who's Got It Better Than US?!
